Howdy! I'm Nutmeg, a mom from Northern California. I was a teacher at an elementary school for 13 years before deciding to stay home with my three girls, now 16, 5 and 3. I had breastfed, family bed, cloth diapered my oldest back in 1991, and didn't know much about it except that it felt right. With no internet, we sure felt like the oddballs! Then along came my next daughter, 10 and a half years later and our third in March of 2004. Now with three girls to raise, I waded into the world of cloth diapering, extended breastfeeding, and this 'new' thing called "Attached Parenting style". I wasn't such an oddball after all! I have always strongly supported this method of raising children, and wanted to share it in a way that is non threatening and fun to other families. These great gifts are fun ways to express your support of "AP" parenting. I think the best way to "spread the word" about Gentle Parenting is through humor and of course style. I love them and I hope you will too!
